THE EALING (FREE PARKING PLACES) (NO. 2) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Waiting Restriction Order would be to introduce or change existing restrictions to double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at any time in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
  • 3 The general effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to extend the maximum stay from 30 minutes to 90 minutes at the “shop and stop” free parking bays on the north side of Bilton Road between Torrington Road and Brooklands Drive.
  • 4 The Orders, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
  • 5 Enquiries about the proposal can be made by telephoning the Ealing Council Project Engineer on 0208 825 5262.
  • 6 Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference ORD 3614/djc until the 7th October 2011. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

So much as is public highway and lies on:

  • a the north-east side, between the north-western kerb-line of Old Oak Lane and a point 21 metres north-west of that kerb-line;

George V Way

between its junctions with Jubilee Road and Woodrow Close and a point opposite the northern wall of No. 71 George V Way.

Old Oak Common Lane, W3

  • a the south-west side:
    • i between a point 8.30 metres north of the north-western boundary of Nos. 203/205 Old Oak Common Lane and a point 3.46 metres south-west opposite the party wall of Nos. 47 and 49 Wells House Road;
    • ii between the rear common boundary of Nos. 7 and 9 Wells House Road and the common boundary of Nos. 165 and 167 Wells House Road.
    ii between the rear common boundary of Nos. 7 and 9 Wells House Road and the common boundary of Nos. 165 and 167 Wells House Road.
  • b the north-east side:
    • i between south-eastern kerb-line of Old Oak Lane and a point 26.2 metres south-east of that kerb-line;
    • ii between a point 32.42 metres north of the common boundary of Nos. 165 and 167 Wells House Road and the north-western kerb-line of the unnamed access road opposite Nos. 23 and 25 Wells House Road
    • iii between a point in line with the northern extremity of the first railway bridge lying immediately north of Nos. 203/205 Old Oak Common Lane and a point 116.40 metres south-east of that point.

    • ii between a point 5.00 metres south-east of the south-eastern entrance to the garage parking area at the rear of Nos. 96 to 110 Bollo Bridge Road and a point 2.5 metres north-west of the north-western entrance to the garage parking area.

Wells House Road

  • a the north-east to south-west arm:
    • i the north-west side, between its junction with Old Oak Common Lane and the common boundary of Nos. 157 and 159 Wells House Road;
    • ii the south-east side:
    ii the south-east side:

(A) between its junction with Old Oak Common Lane and a point 5.29 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Wells House Road;

(B) between a point 6.6 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Wells House Road and a point 2 metres south-west of a point opposite the north-eastern wall of No.2 Wells House Road;

  • b the north to south arm:
    • i the east side, between its junction with the north-east to south-west arm of Wells House Road and a point opposite the northern wall of No. 11 Wells House Road;
    • ii the west side, between its junction with the north-east to south-west arm of Wells House Road and a point 1 metre north of the northern wall of No. 2 Wells House Road.
    ii the west side, between its junction with the north-east to south-west arm of Wells House Road and a point 1 metre north of the northern wall of No. 2 Wells House Road.

Woodrow Close

the south-east side, between its junction with George V Way and a point opposite the western wall of No. 2 Woodrow Close.
