THE LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON (CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE) (3E) (NO. 6) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2011

FARADAY ROAD

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Merton, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, has made the above mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers. The Orders were made on 24th August 2011 and shall come into force on 30th August 2011.
  • 2 The general effect of the Order is to extend the shared use bays on the south-east side of Faraday Road outside Holy Trinity School to provide an additional 2 bays.
  • 3 A copy of the Order, plans identifying the area affected by the Order and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be inspected during the Council’s normal office hours Mondays to Fridays at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.
  • 4 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within six weeks from the date which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
