Three months advance notice is hereby given that Torbay Council intends to carry out substantial roadworks. Work is expected to affect the footway and carriageway and will commence during September 2011.

Footway works

The works notified will include improvement, reconstruction and resurfacing of the carriageway or footway. Subject to the exemptions of the Act and Regulations under it. No street works may be executed for a period of twelve months from completion of works described above without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
