NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:-

• a introduce/extend/remove waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• b amend the disabled bays outside Nos. 197 and 215 Bluston Parade, Petts Wood Road to Pay and Display bays;
• c amend the Pay and Display bays on the north side of Petts Wood Road to Permit holder only bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• d introduce an additional permit holder only bay on the north side of Petts Wood Road outside the Memorial Hall as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• e amend the Permit holder only bays in Woodland Way to Pay and Display bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• f amend the hours of operation of the Pay and Display bays in Petts Wood Road and Woodland Way to between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, to bring them in line with the Pay and Display bays in Station Square;
• g amend the hours of operation of the Permit holder only bays in Petts Wood Road to between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive;
• h introduce free parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• i introduce Pay and Display bays in Bridge Road, Beckenham as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/569 not later than 4th May 2011.

Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
