ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A46 TRUNK ROAD (A439 MARRAWAY ROUNDABOUT, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, WARWICKSHIRE) (DERESTRICTION) ORDER 2011
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 82(2) and 83(1) of, and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A46 Trunk Road, northeast of Snitterfield, in the District of Stratford-upon-Avon in the County of Warwickshire.
The effect of the order, which comes into force on 28 March 2011, will be to maintain the national speed limit on the length of the A46 between points 160 metres southwest and 140 metres northeast of the centre of its roundabout junction with the A439, known as Marraway Roundabout, including the circulatory carriageway of that roundabout, which would otherwise be subject to a speed limit of 30 miles per hour as a result of the street lighting installed on that length.
