NOTICE TO CREDITORS OF AN INSOLVENT COMPANY (/CHARITY) OF THE RE-USE OF A PROHIBITED NAME

On 13 January 2011, Manchester Kashrus went in insolvent liquidation. We (named below) of Manchester Jewish Community Centre, Bury Old Road, Manchester M7 4QY, held the following positions during the period of twelve months ending with the day before Manchester Kashrus went into liquidation: Hillel Raphael Royde (employee), Jeffrey Brodie (administrator), Jeremy Nussbaum (Honorary President), Henri Mark Brownson (Honorary Treasurer), Simon Daniel Fine (Honorary Officer), Joel Michael Monath (Honorary Officer) and David Gordon (Honorary Officer) (not all of the above were formally appointed).
We give notice that it is our intention to act in one or more of the ways specified in section 216(3) of the Insolvency Act 1986 in connection with, or for the purposes of, the carrying on of the whole or substantially the whole of the business of the insolvent charity under the following names: Manchester Beth Din Limited, MBD Kosher Certification Services Limited, MBD Shechita Services Limited, MBD Community Mikvah Limited, Kashrus Information Services, Manchester Communal Mikvah Committee, MBS Advertising Limited, MBS Communal Committee, Manchester Shechita Board Pension Fund, MBS Communal Burial Board and Manchester Shechita Board.
