THE A40TRUNK ROAD (LAY-BY OPPOSITE COTTS FARM, ROBESTON WATHEN, PEMBROKESHIRE) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT HAND TURNS AND PROHIBITION OF ENTRY TO VEHICLES) ORDER 201—
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Welsh Ministers propose to make an Order under Legislation section: Sections 1(1), Legislation section: 2 (1) and Legislation section: (2) of the Legislation: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 .
The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit westbound vehicles from making right hand turns into the eastbound carriageway of the A40 London – Fishguard Trunk Road (hereinafter referred to as “the trunk road”) to enter the western end of the lay-by situated 280 metres east of the centre of Robeston Wathen Roundabout, opposite Cotts Farm, Robeston Wathen in the County of Pembrokeshire and to prohibit westbound vehicles from entering the eastern end of the said lay-by at a point situated 410 metres east of the centre of Robeston Wathen Roundabout.
During a period of 21 days from 17 December 2010, a copy of the proposed Order, together with a relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for the making of the Order may be inspected free of charge during normal opening hours at Pembrokeshire County Council, County Hall, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire SA61 1TP and Narberth Post Office, Narberth, Pembrokeshire or may be obtained free of charge from the address below.
Objections specifying the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing to the Welsh Assembly Government, Transport, Housing and Regeneration, Transport Planning and Governance Division 3, Orders Branch, Cathays Park, Cardiff by 6 January 2011 . Should you wish to object, support or make representations, we may need to consult with people and organisations outside the Welsh Assembly Government. As part of the process of consulting with others we may pass information to them, including information you have given us and your personal data. We will however, only disclose your personal details where it is necessary to do so to enable us to deal with issues you have brought to our attention.
