EXTINGUISHMENT OF HIGHWAY RIGHTS
LAND IN FRONT OF THE OLD POST OFFICE,VERNHAM DEAN, ANDOVER SP11 0LD
Notice is hereby given that Hampshire County Council proposes to make an application to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at The Court House, London Road, Basingstoke RG21 4AB at 14.00 on Monday 31 January 2011 for an Order under Legislation section: Section 116 of the Legislation: Highways Act 1980 extinguishing highway rights over a portion of land in front of The Old Post Office, Vernham Street, Vernham Dean, Andover SP11 0LD, which is surplus to highway requirements.
A plan showing the area of highway (the subject of the application), coloured red, has been deposited for public inspection at Andover Library, Chantry Centre, Andover SP10 1LT, where it may be inspected during the following hours: Monday 9.30 - 17.00; Tuesday 9.30 - 17.00; Wednesday 9.30 - 13.00; Thursday 9.30 - 19.00; Friday 9.30 - 17.00; Saturday 9.00 - 16.00; Sunday 11.00 - 15.00 and at Test Valley Borough Council, Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover SP10 3AJ, Mon to Thurs 8.30 - 17.00, Fri 8.30 - 16.30 where it may be inspected as set out above.
On hearing the application, the applicant authority, any person to whom notice is required to be given under Part 1 of Schedule 12 Legislation: Highways Act 1980, any person who uses the highway, and any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order applied for, shall have the right to be heard.
