(Note: This notice is about the provision of new disabled persons’ parking places and the formal designation and revocation of certain other disabled persons’ parking places that are no longer required in the borough.)

• 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth on 27th October 2010 made the Lambeth (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. 14) Order 2010 under Legislation section: sections 6 and Legislation section: 124 of and Legislation section: Part IV of Legislation section: Schedule 9 to the Legislation: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 . The Order will come into force on 8th November 2010 .
• 2 In brief, the general effect of the Order will be to:-
  • a designate disabled persons’ parking places on the streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
  • b revoke disabled persons’ parking places on the streets specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
• 3 The parking places referred to in paragraph 2(a) above will operate at any time and will be available for use only by vehicles which display in the relevant position a valid disabled persons’ blue badge issued by a local authority.

• 6 If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Legislation: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
