HOUNSLOW ROAD AND STAINES ROAD, FELTHAM; AND CLOVELLY ROAD, LAMPTON AVENUE, LAMPTON ROAD AND STAINES ROAD, HOUNSLOW

  • 1 The Council of the London Borough of Hounslow proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Waiting and Loading amendment Order would be to further amend the London Borough of Hounslow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2008 so that:
    • a waiting and/or loading by vehicles would be prohibited in the lengths of roads as specified in Schedules 1, 2 and 3 to this Notice; and
    • b remove item No. 18 Clovelly Road, Hounslow from Schedule 7 which designates Clovelly Road as an exempt side street which adjoins a restricted street in Schedule 1 as defined by Article 3(1)(b).
  • 3 The general effect of the Prescribed Routes Order would be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding in the service road fronting Nos. 34 to 62 Staines Road except in a north-east to south-west direction as described in Schedule 4 to this Notice
  • 4 The general effect of the Loading Places Order would be to further amend The London Borough of Hounslow (Loading Places) Order 2009 to provide a goods vehicle only loading bay in the service road fronting Nos. 30 and 32 Staines as detailed in Schedule 5 of this Notice.
  • 5 A copy of; the proposed Orders; the above-mentioned Order of 2008 and 2009; the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders; plans which show the lengths of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected until the end of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published, on-line at www.hounslow.gov.uk, or at Forms and Document Counter, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN between 9.00am and 4.15pm Monday to Friday. Further information may also be obtained by telephoning the Environment Department on 020 8583 3322.
  • 6 Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the address above to the Director of Environment, quoting the reference TMO/P025/10 to be received by Friday 24 September 2010.

Hounslow Road, Feltham

  • a north-west side, from a point 12.0 metres south-west of the boundary wall of Nos. 283/285 Hounslow Road to a point opposite the boundary wall of Nos. 273/275 Hounslow Road.

Lampton Avenue, Hounslow

  • a north-east side, from the north-western kerb-line of Lampton Road to a point 18.3 metres north-west of that kerb-line.
  • b south-west side, from the north-western kerb-line of Lampton Road to a point 21.3 metres north-west of that kerb-line.

Lampton Road, Hounslow

  • a north-east side, from a point 3.0 metres north-west of a point opposite the extended south-eastern building line of Lampton House, Lampton Road to its junction with Spring Grove Road.
  • b south-west side, from a point 3.0 metres south-east of the extended south-eastern building line of Lampton House, Lampton Road to its junction with the north-west to south-east arm of Lampton Road
  • c north-west side, from its junction with the north-west to south-east arm of Lampton Road to a point opposite the boundary wall of No. 246 and Nos. 7 to 12 Lampton Road.
  • d north-west side, from a point 8.0 metres south-west of the north-eastern building line of No. 177 Lampton Road to a point 4.0 metres north-east of the south-western building line of No. 169 Lampton Road.

Clovelly Road, Hounslow

  • a both sides, between the north-western kerb-line of Lampton Road and the extent of public highway.

Staines Road, Feltham

  • a south-east side, the apron area of Fairholme Estate which lies from a point 4.0 metres south-west of the south-western building line of No. 553 Staines Road to a point 4.0 metres north-east of the north-eastern building line of No. 555 Staines Road.

Staines Road, Hounslow

  • a both sides, the service road fronting Nos. 30 to 62 Staines Road, Hounslow.

SCHEDULE 3

(proposed waiting restrictions 7.00am and 7.00pm)

Staines Road, Feltham

  • a north-west side, from a point opposite the north-eastern building line of No. 539 Staines Road to a point 45.0 metres north-east of the south-western wall of No. 641 Staines Road, Feltham, excluding so much of the service road fronting Nos. 470 to 540 Staines Road as lies north-west of a point 18.3 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Staines Road.
  • b south-east side, from a point opposite the north-eastern building line of No. 539 Staines Road to a point 4.0 metres south-west of the south-western building line of No. 553 Staines Road
  • c south-east side, from a point 4.0 metres north-east of the north-eastern building line of No. 555 Staines Road to a point 45.0 metres north-east of the south-western wall of No. 641 Staines Road
