By this notice, the Secretary of State for Transport invites further representations about the scheme submitted by Dover Harbour Board in January this year by which all the property, rights, liabilities and functions of the Board would transfer under section 2 of the Ports Act 1991 to Port of Dover Limited, a Company formed by the Board (“the Successor Company”) for this purpose.

Copies of the scheme and the memorandum and articles of the Successor Company may, at all reasonable hours, be seen at the offices of the Board at Harbour House, Marine Parade, Dover, Kent CT17 9BU.

Any person who wishes to make representations to the Secretary of State with respect to the proposed transfer, or any provision or the scheme, or the memorandum or articles of the Successor Company should do so in writing to the Secretary of State, Department for Transport, Great Minister House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR, by Friday 27 August 2010.
