• The Newham (Stratford South East) (Disabled Resident Parking Places) (No. 1) Experimental Traffic Order 2008.

• 3 The above Experimental Traffic Orders introduced parking controls in the streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice (the Stratford South East Controlled Parking Zone [CPZ]). The restrictions include:
  • a parking bays for permit holders only, operating from 10am to 12 Noon on Monday to Friday;
  • b waiting restrictions operating from 10am to 12 Noon on Monday to Friday (unless existing waiting restrictions were in place or “at any time” waiting restrictions were provided as below);
  • c Disabled Resident Parking Places (for use by disabled badge holders living in the CPZ who meet the current criteria for provision of parking places);
  • d Short-stay parking places, in which vehicles may be left between 6am and 10pm daily for a maximum period of 30 minutes (no return within 2 hours), in Abbey Road, Amity Road, Belton Road, Bull Road, Church Street, Corporation Street, Densham Road, Harcourt Road, Leywick Street, Meath Road, Meeson Road, Mitre Road, Morley Road, Plaistow Road, Stephen’s Road and Vicarage Lane E15;
  • e Short-stay parking places in which vehicles may be left between 6am and 10pm daily for a maximum period of 2 hours (no return within 2 hours) in Abbey Road, Church Street E15, Corporation Street;
  • f Short stay parking places in which vehicles may be left between 6am and 10pm daily for a maximum period of 30 minutes (no return within 20 minutes) in Church Street E15, Richardson Road and Leywick Street;
  • g waiting restrictions operating “at any time” in streets and lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
• 4 Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 8 March 2010, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive at Reception, East Ham Town Hall, East Ham, London E6 2RP.
• 5 If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
