THE NEWHAM (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 20**

GLEN ROAD AND BOUNDARY LANE

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham on 22 February 2010 made the above mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 84(1) and (2) and 124 of, and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be to introduce new waiting and loading restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in Glen Road between No.36 Glen Road and the roundabout at its junction with Boundary Lane.
  • 3 The general effect of the 20mph Speed Limit Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit in Glen Road between No.42 Glen Road and the roundabout at its junction with Boundary Lane.
  • 4 Copies of the Orders, which come into force on 1 March 2010, and other documents giving detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive at Reception, East Ham Town Hall, East Ham, London E6 2RP.
  • 5 If any person wishes to question the validity of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
