Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 16th February 2010 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Orders will come into force on 1st March 2010.

The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to—

• 1 provide Car Club parking bays in (a) Achilles Road, the south-east side, next to Nos. 31/33 and 35 Fortune Green Road; (b) Agamemnon Road, the east side, next to No. 61 Hillfield Road; (c) Belsize Avenue, the north-west side, outside No. 5 Belsize Avenue; (d) Belsize Park, the east side, opposite Nos. 29 and 30 Belsize Park; (e) Canfield Gardens, the north-west side, outside No. 40 Canfield Gardens; (f) Canfield Gardens, the north side, outside No. 80 Canfield Gardens; (g) Courthope Road, the east side, next to No. 62 Mansfield Road; (h) Fitzjohn’s Avenue, the west side, outside No. 55 Fitzjohn’s Avenue; (i) Greville Road, the north-west side, 3 metres south-west of Greville Mews; (j) Haverstock Hill, the south-west side, 4 metres south-east of Howitt Road; (k) Iverson Road, the south side, outside Nos. 216 and 218 Iverson Road; (l) Lindfield Gardens, the north-east side, outside No. 2a Lindfield Heights; (m) Lower Terrace, the south-east side, 14 metres north-east of Frognal Rise; (n) Mortimer Crescent, the south-east side, next to No. 35 Greville Road; (o) New End, the west side, outside No. 16 New End; (p) Nutley Terrace, the north side, next to No. 46 Fitzjohn’s Avenue; (q) Sumatra Road, the south side, outside No. 175 Sumatra Road; (r) Willoughby Road, the east side, next to No. 80 Rosslyn Hill; and (s) Woodchurch Road, the north side, next to No. 52 West End Lane;
• 2 relocate, remove or amend existing residents, shared use residents/business/visitors, pay and display, motorcycle and disabled parking space and existing yellow lines to accommodate the Car Club bays;
• 3 provide additional residents parking space in (a) Agamemnon Road, the west side, next to No. 59 Hillfield Road; (b) Belsize Park Gardens, the north side, next to No. 2 Belsize Avenue; (c) Belsize Park, the west side, outside No. 30 Belsize Park; (d) Compayne Gardens, the south-east side, opposite Compayne Mansions; (e) Frognal Rise, the south-west side, outside Nos. 1 to 19 Highgrove Point; and (f) Hillfield Road, the south-east side, 5 metres north-east of Aldred Road;
• 4 provide additional pay and display parking space and relocate eastwards the existing motorcycle parking place in Hampstead High Street, the south side, opposite Nos. 1 to 6 Essex Court; and
• 5 introduce 2.8 metres of double yellow line ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in Canfield Gardens, the south-east side, outside Nos. 37 to 92 St. John’s Court.

Please Note: As a result of representations received to the original proposals for this scheme—

• 1 additional Car Club parking bays will be provided in (a) Broadhurst Gardens, the north-east side, opposite No. 29 Broadhurst Gardens; (b) Kidderpore Avenue, the north-west side, next to No. 8 Heath Drive; (c) Pandora Road, the north-west side, outside Nos. 44/46 Pandora Road; and (d) Priory Road, the east side, outside No. 86 Priory Road;
• 2 Car Club parking bays will not now be provided in Avenue Road, Canfield Gardens, Cleve Road, Eton Avenue, Fawley Road, Frognal Gardens, Glenloch Road, Heath Drive, Hilgrove Road, Lymington Road, Minster Road, Solent Road, or Westbere Road and as a consequence, additional residents parking space will not now be provided in Broadhurst Gardens, Frognal Lane, Glenloch Road, Kidderpore Avenue, Lymington Road, Pandora Road and Priory Road.

The car club parking places will operate at any time and will only be available for car club vehicles displaying a car club permit (charge for each permit will be £205 per annum). The charges for the use of the additional residents and pay and display parking spaces, the times during which they operate and the classes of vehicle that may use them will be the same as those that currently apply at similar parking spaces within the same part of the controlled parking zone that the additional parking spaces will be situated in.

A copy of each of the Orders, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and of any Order revoked or amended by the Orders, may be inspected/obtained, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders were made, at the Culture and Environment Reception Desk, fifth floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ.

Any person wishing to question the validity of any of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
