The CP Ships (UK) Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) was established in 1993.

The Scheme commenced wind up on 4 January 2010 which means that work has now commenced to place the Scheme’s liabilities with an insurance company.

If you were a Member of the Scheme and think you are entitled to benefits under the Scheme but have not been notified of your benefits or received other communications from the Trustees, it is of vital importance that you make contact with them to establish whether or not you have an entitlement.

Claims should be sent in writing to the under-mentioned contact on or before 5 April 2010, after which the Trustees will proceed with the distribution of the Scheme assets having regard only to claims and interests of which they have notice. When writing, you should include details of your current address and any benefits that you think you are entitled to. Please include a copy of any documentation that can support your claim.

Notification is not required from persons who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme, or who have already received correspondence from the Trustees regarding the wind up.
