THE HILLINGDON (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (AMENDMENT NO. 19) TRAFFIC ORDER 2010

Hillingdon Council gives notice that on 13 January 2010 it made this Order which will:-

  • a introduce “ at any time” waiting restrictions in Avondale Drive, on the north east side between a point 10 metres northwest of the northwestern kerbline of the access road to the garage block between Minet School and Glenister House and a point 10 metres south east of the southeastern kerbline of said access road;
  • b amend the location of the existing school markings in Avondale Drive on which stopping is prohibited between 8.00 and 10.00am and between 2.30 and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, to those set out in the schedule to this notice;
  • c introduce a 20mph zone in Avondale Drive, Hayes between its junction with Hitherbroom Road and a point in line with the common boundary of Nos. 31 and 33 Avondale Drive;

A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 21 January 2010 can be seen at Hayes Library and by appointment at Level 3 Reception, Civic Centre, Uxbridge during normal office hours, for six weeks following the date on which this notice is published.

Applications to the High Court challenging the legality of the Order should be made within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made.

AVONDALE DRIVE, HAYES, The northeast side

  • a from a point 10 metres northwest of the northwestern kerbline of the access road to the garage block between Minet School and Glenister House for a distance of 37.56 metres northwestwards;
  • b from a point 47.66 metres northwest of the northwestern kerbline of the access road to the garage block between Minet School and Glenister House for a distance of 37.56 metres northwestwards;
  • c from a point 18.14 metres south east of a point in line with the south eastern kerbline of Bourton Close for a distance of 31.56 metres south eastwards;
  • d from a point 49.80 metres south east of a point in line with the south eastern kerbline of Bourton Close for a distance of 25.56 metres south eastwards.
