NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 that two applications have been made to the Environment Agency by Anglian Water Services Limited to extend the time period of two existing temporary consents for the discharge of rainfall dependent volumes of storm sewage from the sewers in Hemingford Grey near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire to the River Ouse;- (1) from Ames Corner Sewage Pumping Station to the River Ouse at National Grid Reference TL 3132 7079 and (2) from Thorpe Pumping Station to the River Ouse at National Grid Reference TL 2891 7074. The company have applied to extend the expiry dates of the consents until 17 October 2011.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so in writing to The Environment Agency, Water Quality Permitting Support Centre, PO Box 4209, Sheffield, S9 9BS, during the period 4/11/09 to 16/12/09 quoting the references NPSWQD009313 for Ames Corner Sewage Pumping Station application and NPSWQD009314 for The Thorpe Sewage Pumping Station application.
Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act or Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the Local Environment Agency office at Kingfisher House, Goldhay Way, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, PE2 5ZR between the hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
