THE BEXLEY (CRAYFORD) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2009

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley on 21 st September 2009 made the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
  • 2 The general effect of the Bexley (Crayford) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 1) Traffic Order 2009 would be to further amend the Bexley (Crayford) (Parking Places)Traffic Order 2008 would be to:-

change all the existing short stay parking bays in Waterside, Crayford, (which operate from 08.00 am to 18.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays) from a 1 hour maximum stay to a 2 hour maximum stay.

  • 3 A copy of the Order, the Bexley (Crayford)(Parking Places)Traffic Order 2009; the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order and a map which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB.

  • 5 A copy of the Order may be purchased from the Traffic and Road Safety Group, 2 nd Floor Wyncham House, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup, Kent. DA15 7JH.
  • 6 Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
