THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (Yorkshire & The Humber) (No. 40) Order 2009” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of Centenary Square, the whole of Norfolk Gardens, the whole of the footbridge crossing Hall Ings, an irregular shaped area of Hall Ings comprising footway and highway verge, the whole of Channing Way, an irregular shaped area comprising unnamed footpaths and landscaped areas bounded by Hall Ings, Prince’s Way and the pedestrian area The Tyrls, at Bradford in the City of Bradford to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to White Young Green by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council on 22 October 2007 under reference 07/05090/FUL.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/76) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at c/o John Robinson, Highway Records Officer, at the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, 5th Floor South, Jacobs Well, Bradford, BD1 5RW.

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 11 September 2009 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
