THORNDIKE AVENUE
THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 375) ORDER 2009
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing (“the Council”) on the 27th August 2009 made the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
- 2 The general effect of the Waiting Restriction Order will be:-
- a to introduce new double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at any time in:—
- i Hawtrey Avenue, Northolt, on its north-west side, between a point opposite the north-eastern flank wall of No. 43 Hawtrey Avenue and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 49 and 51 Hawtrey Avenue;
- ii Thorndike Avenue, Northolt, on its north-east side, between the junction with Hawtrey Avenue and a point 3 metres north-west of a point opposite the north-western flank wall of No. 1 Thorndike Avenue and on its south-west side, between the north-western kerb-line of Hawtrey Avenue and a point opposite the north-western flank wall of No. 1 Thorndike Avenue;
- b to reduce the length of existing double yellow line waiting restrictions in:—
- i the Church Road service road in Northolt, by 6 metres on its north-west side, so that this extends 4 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of the north-eastern arm of Langtry Road;
- ii Langtry Road, Northolt, (the south-western arm) by 6 metres on its north-east side, so that they extend 4 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of the Church road service road and by 1 metre on its south-west side, so that they extend 9 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of the Church Road service road.
- a to introduce new double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at any time in:—
- 3 The Order, which will come into operation on 1st September 2009, and other documents giving more detailed particulars are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the offices of Mouchel Limited, 6th Floor, 58 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2ST, until the 8th October 2009.
- 4 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by the 8th October 2009.
