THE CAMDEN (PARKING PLACES) (CA-E) (AMENDMENT NO. 28) TRAFFIC ORDER 2009

THE CAMDEN (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 213) TRAFFIC ORDER 2009

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 03 JUNE 2009 made these Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:

  • a add double yellow lines ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions around the junction of Fitzroy Street/Howland Street/Charlotte Street;
  • b amend two existing motorcycle parking places in Fitzroy Street and Charlotte Street;
  • c amend existing residents and pay & display parking places in Fitzroy Street;
  • d add double yellow lines ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions for various lengths on both sides of Leighton Road between Leverton Street and Bartholomew Road.

A copy of the Orders which will come into force on 15 JUNE 2009, together with the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive at the Culture and Environment Reception Desk, fifth floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ.

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
