THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of public highway:

  • 1 The area of public highway to be stopped up and incorporated into the development site (101-113 Queens Road) is part of the footway located on the eastside of Montpelier Road measuring minimum 0.9 metres in width and 8.75 metres and northside of Queens Road measuring 35.6 metres in length and with a maximum width of 1.3 metres in length, both roads immediately adjoining the development.

IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Kitewood Estates Ltd by the Council of the London Borough of Southwark on 11 January 2006 under reference LBS Reg. No 03-AP-2420.

COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLANS MAY BE INSPECTED at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on Thursday 9 April 2009 Southwark Council Reception, Walworth Old Town Hall, 151 Walworth Road, London SE17 1RY quoting reference LEG/PLA/129653 (RM)

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within the period of 28 days commencing on 9 April 2009 by notice to The Strategic Director of Legal and Democratic Services, South House, 30-32 Peckham Road, London SE5 8PX quoting reference LEG/PLA/129653 (RM).

In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
