NOTICE OF GRANTING OF CONSENT FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF SAFETY ZONE SCHEME DURING CONSTRUCTION OF THE THANET OFFSHORE WIND FARM OFF THE COAST OF THANET IN NORTH EAST KENT.
THE ELECTRICITY (OFFSHORE GENERATING STATIONS) (SAFETY ZONES) (APPLICATION PROCEDURES AND CONTROL OF ACCESS) REGULATIONS 2007 – STATUTORY INSTRUMENT 2007 NO.1948
Notice is hereby given that Thanet Offshore Wind Limited (Registration number 4512200) (The “Company”) (whose registered office is at c/o Warrener Stewart, Harwood House, 43 Harwood Road, London SW6 4QP, has been granted:
Consent from the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change as set out in the Energy Act 2004 and the Electricity (Offshore Generating Stations) (Safety Zones) (Application Procedures and Control of Access) Regulations 2007 (SI No 2007/1948) for a Safety Zone scheme to be placed around the offshore substation platform and the individual WTG/foundation structures during construction of the previously consented offshore renewable energy installation known as the Thanet Offshore Wind Farm off the coast of Thanet in north east Kent.
