TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No10) Order 2009” authorising the stopping up of a 0.31 metre width of the northern footway of Bethel Street as skirts the steps into City Hall from Bethel Street, in the City of Norwich to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to and by Norwich City Council on 4th April 2008 under reference 08/00068/NF3.
COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/E/S247/27) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at The Planning Office, Norwich City Council, City Hall, Norwich, NR2 1NH.
ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 11 February 2009 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

Planning permission is granted to adjust existing landing at top of ramp together with adjusting handrails at City Hall, St Peters Street, Norwich, NR2 1NH.
