ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A3113 TRUNK ROAD (AIRPORT WAY) (50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 200
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT hereby gives notice that he proposes to make this Order under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A3113 Trunk Road in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
The effect of the Order would be to impose a permanent 50mph speed limit on the A3113 (Airport Way) from the roundabout at its junction with the M25 Motorway at Junction 14 to its junction with Stanwell Moor Roundabout (A3044), a total distance of approximately 1050 metres. This would supersede a temporary Order to this effect that is currently in force.
A COPY of the draft Order, of a plan illustrating the proposal, of the temporary Order and of a statement explaining why the Secretary of State proposes to make the Order may be inspected during office hours at the offices of Mouchel, Heston Compound, Heston Service Area, M4 Junction 3, Church Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW5 9RY, and at those of the London Borough of Hillingdon, Civic Centre, Uxbridge UB8 1UW, until the end of the objection period indicated below.
ANY PERSON desiring to object or make representations to the Secretary of State’s proposal should send, not later than 6 February 2009, a written statement of his or her representation or objection and of the grounds thereof to Network Operations Division, Highways Agency, Floor 4C, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting the reference HA/A3113/28/3/176. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
