THE SUTTON (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (NO. 5) (AMENDMENT NO. 3) ORDER 2008

1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton made the above Order under sections 32, 35 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
2 The principal objective of this Order is to allow the enforcement of the existing car club bays in the car park in Melbourne Road, Wallington.
3 The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a car club vehicle as a class of vehicle for which parking bays may be provided in the off-street parking places within the Borough.
4 A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 22 December 2008, and containing the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be examined at:

Civic Offices St. Nicholas Way, Sutton 9am - 5pm Mon. - Fri.; and

Environment and Leisure 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton 9am - 5pm Mon. - Fri.

5 If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
