ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A52 TRUNK ROAD (EAST OF RADCLIFFE ON TRENT, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE) (50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 200

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he intends to make an Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of, and paragraph 27(1) to schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A52 Trunk Road east of Radcliffe on Trent in the County of Nottinghamshire.

The effect of the Order would be to impose a 50 miles per hour speed limit on the A52 Trunk Road from a point 68 metres northeast of the centreline of its junction with Saxondale Drive to a point 184 metres southeast of the centreline of its junction with Henson Lane.

A copy of the draft Order, together with plans illustrating the proposals and a Statement of the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during opening hours at Bingham Library, Eaton Place, Bingham, Nottinghamshire, NG13 8BE; Radcliffe on Trent Library, New Road, Radcliffe on Trent, Nottinghamshire, NG12 2AJ; or may be seen at, or obtained by application to, the Highways Agency, Orders Team, 5 Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham, B15 1BL.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Highways Agency at the address given above. The objection should quote reference HA/28/3/174 and must be received no later than 8 January 2009.
