NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 30th October 2008 the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The general effect of the Orders will be to enable the provision of disabled parking bays for vehicles displaying a valid disabled Blue Badge at the locations detailed below, which would operational at any time. The Orders also revokes certain redundant disabled parking bays.

New disabled parking bays

3 Beaconsfield Road N11: 32 Birkbeck Road N12: 3 Capel Road East Barnet: 89 Erskine Hill NW11: 95 Engel Park NW7: 14 Grange Avenue East Barnet: 33/35 Glenhurst Road N12: Hampstead Way NW11 (2 bays) opposite Mountview Close: 36 Hayward Road N20: 6 Holly Park Road N11: 53 Montagu Road NW4: 12 Malins Close Barnet: 123/ 125 Salisbury Road High Barnet: 84 Sheaveshill Avenue NW9: 15 Walmington Fold N12: 138 Wolsey Grove Edgware and 18 Woodfield Drive East Barnet.

The two bays on Hampstead Way, opposite Mountview Close, would have a maximum stay of 4 hours with no return within one hour.

The bays at 32 Birkbeck Road N12, 33/35 Glenhurst Road N12, 53 Montagu Road NW4 and 123/125 Salisbury Road High Barnet would be provided by converting existing permit parking spaces.

The bay outside No. 6 Holly Park Road N11 would be extended by two metres due to a tree being within the boundary of the present bay.

The following redundant disabled parking bays will be removed and where noted converted to permit parking places

Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on Monday 3rd November 2008, plans of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays (Public and Bank Holidays excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at:

  • b Hendon Library (Information Desk 1st Floor), The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BG.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that the Orders are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
