THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.12) Order 2008” authorising the stopping up of an area of highway at Wapshott Road, Egham, in the County of Surrey, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to A2 Housing Group (Formally Apex Housing Group) on 6th November 2006 by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government under reference APP/Q3630/A/05/1186514 and with reference to planning application made to Runnymede Borough Council under reference RU.04/1050.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/SE/S247/41) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Egham Library, High Street, Egham, Surrey TW20 9DH.

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 29 October 2008 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
