NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Rochdale Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them, intend to apply to the Rochdale, Middleton & Heywood Magistrates’ Court at The Court House, Town Meadows, Rochdale, OL16 1BR on Tuesday 18th November 2008 at 9:45 a.m. for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the closure of:

A 3 metre wide alleyway from the gable walls of 1 Boundary Street and 14 Castlemere Street, Rochdale running in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 77 metres to the rear of 33 Boundary Street, Rochdale

An adjoining alleyway of varying width adjacent to rear of the footway to 1 Boundary Street, Rochdale running in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 42 metres ending adjacent to the rear of the footway of 14 Castlemere Street, Rochdale.

The effect of the said Order is shown on the plan, which may be inspected free of charge at the Borough Solicitor’s Office, The Rochdale Borough Council, Town Hall, Rochdale and the Customer Services Centre, Municipal Offices, Smith Street, Rochdale during normal office hours.
