THE HARINGEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (NO.1) (AMENDMENT NO.84) ORDER 2008

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council, on the 2nd October 2008, make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 35(b), 45, 46, 46(a), 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Ambulance Parking Place Order would be to create a designated Ambulance parking place operative at any time, located opposite Nos. 132 and 134 Abyssinia Court, N8.
  • 3 The general effect of the Free Loading Places Order would be to designate a free loading place in High Street, N17, on the west side approximately 5 metres south of its junction with Pembury Road, N17 southward for a distance of 12 metres operative between Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
  • 4 The general effect of the Haringey (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.*) Order 2008 would be to:
    • a impose waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) operative ‘at any time’ at the junctions of the following streets on Clarence Road, Cornwall Road, Dagmar Road, Falmer Road, Gorleston Road and Station Road, N15.
    • b on Bounds Green Road, N11, on the north-west side, extend the existing double yellow lines ‘at any time’ from 37 metres to 58 metres from its junction with High Road, N17;
    • c at its junction with Landrock Road, N8:
      • i on Dyrlands Road, N8, remove the single yellow lines at its junction with Landrock Road;
      • ii on Gladwell Road, N8, the north-east side of remove the existing single yellow line;
      ii on Gladwell Road, N8, the north-east side of remove the existing single yellow line;
    • d on Jarrow Road, N17, on the eastern arm introduce ‘at any time’ waiting.
  • 5 The general effect of the Haringey (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) Order 2008 would be to introduce a prohibition of stopping outside schools (school keep clear) operative Mondays to Fridays 8a.m. to 4.30p.m:
    • a on the north side, outside the Tennis Court, approximately 43 metres in length; and;
    • b on the south side, opposite the Tennis Court, approximately 40 metres in length.
  • 6 The general effect of the Off Street Parking Places Order will be to amend the existing off street parking places Orders so as to amend the charging tariff in:
    • i Bury Road Car Park, N8;
  • 7 The general effect of the Haringey (Parking Places) (Variation) Order will be to amend the Haringey (Parking Places) (Pay and Display) Orders as set out as follows:-
  • 8 Copies of the made Orders, which will come into operation on the 6th October 2008, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders, together with plans and more detailed particulars showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be inspected during normal office working hours, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, at Highways Infrastructure Group, 1st Floor South, River Park House, 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ.
  • 9 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
