AMENDMENT OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DANEBURY AVENUE SW 15 AND PARKING PLACE IN PIER TERRACE SW 18

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under section 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 —

• The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Town) (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 200—

• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. -) Order 200—

  • 2 The general effect of the Orders would be to—
    • i introduce additional waiting restrictions in Danebury Avenue near its junction with Priory Lane to operate between 8am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive;
    • ii reduce the length of a parking place and extend the hours of the existing waiting restrictions in Pier Terrace to operate between 7am and 7pm Mondays to Fridays and between 7am and 4pm Saturdays.

  • 3 Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders, including a plan showing the location of the restrictions and amended parking place, are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

  • 5 Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Director of Technical Services at the address below (quoting the reference ES/PK/TMO1010) by 24th October 2008.
