THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING) (NO. *) ORDER 200*

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985:
  • 2 The general effect of the Orders would be:
    • a on the north-west side of Francis Street, to:
      • i introduce “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions extending for approximately 12 metres across the access road connecting Francis Street and Howick Place;
      • ii introduce a residents’ parking place, 20 metres in length, opposite Greencoat House;
      ii introduce a residents’ parking place, 20 metres in length, opposite Greencoat House;
    • b on the south side of Howick Place, to:
      • i introduce “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions for approximately 14 metres across the access road connecting Francis Street and Howick Place; and
      • ii relocate the existing residents’ parking place, nearest to the access road connecting Francis Street and Howick Place, westward 2.2 metres.

  • 3 The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.   • 4 Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Council’s agents, West One, telephone number (020) 7798 1983.
  • 5 Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, quoting reference 5396/IS, by 26th September 2008. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
