THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that she has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.09) Order 2008” authorising the stopping up of 22 metres in length adjacent to 13 Nene View, Islip, Kettering, Northamptonshire to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to Mr and Mrs Jackson by East Northamptonshire District Council on 11 September 2006 under reference EN/06/01488/FUL.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/EM/S247/22) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Thrapston Library, High Street, Thrapston, Northamptonshire.

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 1 September 2008 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
