NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS

1. Three months’ advance notice is hereby given that Swindon Borough Council (Highway Authority) intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes.

2. The roads in which these works will take place are listed below.

3. Work is expected to affect the carriageway and footway as detailed below.

4. Work is expected to commence on the date stated or within 1 month of this date.

5. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from completion of the works described in the table below without the consent of Swindon Borough Council (Highway Authority), which is not unreasonably withheld.
