HIGHWAYS AT CHERRY ORCHARD HOUSE, PERSHORE, WORCESTERSHIRE

THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (County Of Worcestershire) (No.2) Order 2008” authorising the stopping up of highways at Cherry Orchard House, Pershore, Worcestershire and requiring the provision of new footpaths and cycleways shown by thick vertical hatching on the deposited plan and the improvement of existing highways shown as cross hatched on the deposited plan.

THE ORDER as made, will authorise the Stopping Up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Wychavon District Council on 30 June 2003 and 20 June 2005 under references W/03/00735/PN and W/05/00804/PN respectively.

Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands at the offices of the Director, Sustainable Futures Directorate, 5 St Philip’s Place, Colmore Row Birmingham B3 2PW (quoting reference: GOWM/NPT/T_5058/53680) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at The Customer Services Department, Wychavon District Council, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, Worcestershire, WR10 1PT.

ANY person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the 10 July 2008 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provisions contained therein.
