TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that she proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of a northern part width of Croyde Road, comprising highway verge to the west of The Whiteleaf Hotel, at its junction with Sandy Lane, Croyde, North Devon EX33.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Mr N Jones by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 18 May 2006 under Application Ref 40856 (and Appeal ref: APP/X1118/A/06/2007558).
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 5 June 2008 at the offices of the Planning and Development Department, Civic Centre, Barnstaple, Devon, EX31 1EA and may be obtained free of charge from the Secretary of State at the offices of the Department for Transport (quoting reference NATTRAN/SW/S247/03) at the address stated below.
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within the period of 28 days commencing on 5 June 2008 by notice to the Secretary of State, quoting the above reference, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH.
In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

Planning permission is granted for the erection of a dwelling, with amendments to the junction of Sandy lane and Croyde Road, including a visibility splay, on land adjacent to The Whiteleaf Hotel, Croyde, Braunton EX33.
