HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116 AND TWELFTH SCHEDULE

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Rochdale Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them, intend to apply to the Rochdale, Middleton & Heywood Magistrates’ Court at The Court House, Town Meadows, Rochdale, OL16 1BR on Tuesday 24th June 2008 at 9.45 a.m. for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the closure of:

A 3 metre wide alleyway running to the rear of 37 to 65 Oswald Street and 2 to 34 Hector Avenue, Rochdale from a point adjacent to the rear of 2 Hector Avenue for a distance of 70 metres in a general south easterly direction to a point adjacent to the rear of 34 Hector Avenue.

The effect of the said Order is shown on the plan, which may be inspected free of charge at the Borough Solicitor’s Office, The Rochdale Borough Council, Town Hall, Rochdale and the Customer Services Centre, Municipal Offices, Smith Street, Rochdale during normal office hours.
