NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Ibstock Brick Roughdales Limited for consent to discharge up to 960 cubic metres per day of trade effluent consisting of site drainage from precipitation to Ochre Brook at National Grid Reference SJ 46543 88992 from Cronton Quarry, Adjacent to Higher Park Farm, Dacres Bridge Lane, Tarbock, Prescot, Merseyside, L35 1QZ.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Environment Agency, Water Quality Permitting Support Centre, PO Box 4209, Sheffield, S9 9BS, during the period 25/04/08 to 06/06/08 quoting reference NPSWQD001179.

Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act or Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the Local Environment Agency office at Environment Agency, Public Register, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Birchwood, Warrington, WA3 7WD between the hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
