THE BEXLEY (LOADING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO……) TRAFFIC ORDER 200X

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 9 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No…) Traffic Order 200X would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2007 would be to:-

Introduce “At any time” waiting restrictions in parts of Appledore Crescent, Sidcup; Becton Place, Northumberland Heath; Hazeldene Road, Welling; Lydd Close, Sidcup; and Northdown Road, Welling.

3. The General effect of the Bexley (Loading Places) (Amendment No….) Traffic Order 200X would be to further amend the Bexley (Loading Places) Traffic Order 1998 to introduce a loading bay to facilitate loading and unloading in Back Road, Sidcup, for the Superstore, Monday to Saturday inclusive operational 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.

4. Copies of the proposed Orders, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2007 (and the Orders that have amended that Order), the Bexley (Loading Places) Traffic Order 1998 (and the Orders that have amended that Order), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB.

6. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to Traffic and Road Safety Group, Wyncham House, 2nd Floor, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup DA15 7JH within the above 21 days.

7. Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
