THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PARKING PLACES) (NO. *) ORDER 200*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:

(a) reduce residents’ parking outside Helmsdale House by approximately 6 metres;

(b) extend residents parking outside Nos. 2 to 7 Carlton Vale south-westward by approximately 10 metres; and

(c) extend residents’ parking outside Renfrew House by approximately 10 metres.

3. The City of Westminster also give notice that they intend to introduce a zebra crossing and zig-zag lines in Carlton Vale, located 6 metres south-west of its junction with Randolph Avenue (in accordance with section 23) to facilitate pedestrian movements and to improve road safety for pedestrians.

4. The proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order are made or the Council decides not to make the Order. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Council’s agents, West One, telephone number (020) 7798 1990.

6. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, quoting reference 5373/TM, by 11th January 2008. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
