1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on 24 September 2007 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 32, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Disabled Persons Parking Places Order will be to:
(a) revoke 5 existing disabled blue badge parking places on Cromartie Road, Englefield Road, Halliford Street, Poets Road and Sutterton Street; and
(b) introduce a new disabled blue badge parking place on Elphinstone Street, the north-west side, outside No. 14 Elphinstone Street.
3. The general effect of the Dedicated Disabled Permit Parking Places Order will be to:
(a) revoke 4 existing dedicated disabled parking places on Beacon Hill, Blythwood Road, Cleveland Road and Petherton Road;
(b) introduce a new dedicated disabled parking place on Beacon Hill, the north-west side, outside No. 13 Beacon Hill;
(c) introduce a new dedicated disabled parking place on Cleveland Road, the north-west side, outside Nos. 1a and 2a/2b Cleveland Road; and
(d) introduce a new dedicated disabled parking place on Green Lanes, the west side, outside No. 149 Green Lanes.
4. The general effect of the Parking Places Orders will be to make amendments to the parking places within Islington’s Controlled Parking Zones in order to either utilise the on-street space vacated where a disabled parking place has been revoked, or to make space on-street for a new disable parking place. These amendments will, where possible, increase the amount of parking available to residents.
5. The Orders, which will come into force on 26 September 2007, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until 5 November 2007 at the following location:

6. Any person who desires to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 5 November 2007.
