LOWER SLOANE STREET/ROYAL HOSPITAL ROAD - PERMANENT REMOVAL OF BANNED RIGHT TURN
THE KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (REVOCATION NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2007

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) has made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to partly revoke the provisions of the Kensington and Chelsea and City of Westminster (Prescribed Routes) (No 1) Traffic Order 1988, so as to permanently allow vehicles in Lower Sloane Street to turn right into Royal Hospital Road.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 21 September 2007 and of all other relevant documents are available for inspection at the Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date the Order was made at, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX.

4. Any persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
