HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTION 116

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council intends to apply to Plymouth Magistrates’ Court sitting at St. Andrew Street, Plymouth on 4 October 2007 at 2.30pm for an Order that all public rights of way over the length of highway described in the Schedule hereto be extinguished. The aforesaid length of public highway is shown hatched black on the plan which may be inspected free of charge, at “First Stop” Reception, Civic Centre, Plymouth on any weekday between 8.30am and 5.00pm. Any person objecting to the said application is requested to notify David Shepperd, Head of Legal Services, in writing quoting reference 9/S116/CM at the address given below if possible by 20 September 2007.

The ground of the application is that the length of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto is unnecessary.

SCHEDULE

An area of land being the front footpath butting the south side of 113 Kit Hill Crescent, Plymouth from the boundary line of 113 and 115 Kit Hill Crescent westwards for approximately 12.42 metres and having a width throughout of approximately 2.29 metres.
