Alkor Draka section of the Solvay UK Defined Benefits Pension Scheme (previously known as the Alkor Draka Limited Pension and Assurance Scheme, the Alkor Draka Pension and Death Benefit Scheme, the Alkor Plastics (UK) Limited Pension and Death Benefit Scheme and the Alkor Plastics (UK) Limited Pension and Assurance Scheme)

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that the Alkor Draka section of the Solvay UK Defined Benefits Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) commenced wind up with effect on and from 14 September 2006 and all Members’ and Beneficiaries’ benefits will be secured or transferred to alternative pension arrangements. Anyone (including, but not limited to, any former employees of Alkor Draka Limited, Alkor Draka (UK) Limited (previously known as Alkor Draka Limited, Draka Polva (UK) Limited and Draka Plastics (UK) Limited) or Alkor Plastics (UK) Limited) who believes that he or she is a Member of the Scheme but who has not been contacted about the winding-up, or anyone who believes they have any interest, claim or entitlement in the Scheme which has not already been dealt with within the winding-up should write and provide details of their membership, interest, claim or entitlement to the Trustees of the Alkor Draka section of the Solvay UK Defined Benefits Pension Scheme, c/o Paul Kirk, Mercer Human Resource Consulting Limited, Clarendon House, 23 Clarendon Road, Belfast BT1 3GB.

Details must be sent within 2 months of the date of publication of this notice. After expiry of the 2 month period the Trustees will proceed to finalise and secure Members’ benefits and the Trustees of the Scheme shall not be liable to any person in respect of any claim, interest or entitlement he or she may have in relation to the Scheme but of which the Trustees have not had notice.

If you are already receiving a pension, or have received correspondence from the Scheme in respect of the wind up you do not need to write to the Trustees as they already have details about your entitlements.
