THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PARKING PLACES) (NO. 42) ORDER 2007

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 13th June 2007 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be:

(a) in Cavendish Avenue, to introduce a double yellow ‘at any time’ waiting restriction on the south-west side for 8.4 metres from the junction with Circus Road;

(b) in Circus Road, to:

(i) introduce a 49.4 metre section of double yellow ‘at any time’ waiting restriction outside Nos. 44 – 89 Circus Road;

(ii) introduce a 23.9 metre section of double yellow ‘at any time’ waiting restriction outside No. 31 Circus Road;

(c) in Clifton Gardens, to:

(i) install double yellow ‘at any time’ restrictions on the south-east side of the central carriageway opposite No. 3 Clifton Gardens;

(ii) remove 4.2 metres of residents’ parking from the south-eastern side of the central carriageway opposite No. 3 Clifton Gardens;

(d) in Hall Road, to introduce a 12 metre section of double yellow ‘at any time’ waiting restriction outside Nos. 15 to 17 Hall Road.

3. The Orders, which will come into force on 18th June 2007, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 27th July 2007.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 27th July 2007.
