LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS

PETTY WALES – EXTENSION OF HOURS AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY VEHICLES

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Common Council of the City of London and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets propose to make an order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the proposed order would be to change the hours when goods vehicles may enter Petty Wales for the purpose of deliveries etc. to 5 p.m. each evening and 11 a.m. the following day.

3. A copy of the proposed order, of the Common Councils statement of reasons for proposing to make the orders and of a plan showing the affected street can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive within a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice was published at the Department of Planning and Transportation, St. Alphage House, Fore Street, London, EC2Y 5DH and at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent, London E14 1BY.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Department of Planning and Transportation at the above address or by telephone 0207 332 1108 5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed measures should send a statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Planning and Transportation at the above address within the afore-mentioned period of 21 days quoting the reference P&T/TRAF/PA.
