NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58
NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL WORKS FOR ROAD PURPOSES
1. Three months’ advance notice is hereby given that Transport for London intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes.
2. The road in which these works will take place is the A10 Gracechurch Street, comprising its entire length between the Leadenhall Street and King William Street junctions in the City of London.
3. TfL Ref SPST-TO-S58/2007/028.
4. Work is expected to affect the carriageway.
5. Work is expected to commence on 3 September 2007.
6. Work is expected to be completed on 28 September 2007.
7. The works will include the following: resurfacing of the full width of Gracechurch Street from the northern side of the Leadenhall Street/Gracechurch Street junction to the southern end of Gracechurch Street at the King William Street/Gracechurch Street junction.
8. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from the completion of the works described in paragraph 7 without consent of Transport for London, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
