‘ZEBRA’ CROSSING - WARWICK WAY
THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 263) ORDER 2007

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 21st March 2007 made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a 3 metre section of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restriction in Warwick Way, 8 metres south-west of Winchester Street. 3. Westminster City Council will also install an uncontrolled “zebra” pedestrian crossing in Warwick Way, approximately 3 metres south-west of Winchester Street in accordance with the provisions of section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 4. In order to accommodate the zebra crossing one residents’ parking place, which was introduced on an experimental basis, will be removed from the north-western side of Warwick Way from a point 10 metres south-west of Winchester Street. 5. The Order, which will come into force on 26th March 2007, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 4th May 2007. 6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 4th May 2007.
