THE STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS (LAND AT MAES-Y-PANDY), LLANUWCHLLYN, BALA, GWYNEDD) ORDER 2007
Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Enterprise, Innovation and Networks, acting on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales, has made an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, to authorise the stopping-up of the areas of highway described in Schedule 1 to this notice, to provide the new areas of highway described in Schedule 2 to this notice and to improve the areas of highway described in Schedule 3 to this notice. The stopping-up is authorised only in order to enable the development described in Schedule 4 to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted by the Snowdonia National Park Authority on 16 October 2006, under Ref NP5/71/399. The Order will cease to have effect if the planning permission expires or is revoked. During the 6 weeks from 12 March 2007, copies of the Order and the deposited plan may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours, Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd, Uned 8 Gweithdai Penilyn, Heol Aran, Bala or may be obtained, free of charge, from the address below, quoting the Welsh Assembly Government’s Ref CZ510-5-44-10. If any person desires to question the validity of the Order, or of any of the provisions contained therein, on the grounds: (a) that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990; or (b) that their interests have been substantially prejudiced by a failure to comply with any of the requirements of the Act; he may, within 6 weeks of 12 March 2007, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein. Schedule 1 An irregularly shaped area, measuring 127 square metres, which lies at the south-western end of Maes-y-Pandy (identified as A on the deposited plan). A triangular shaped area, measuring 10 square metres, which lies at the south-eastern end of Maes-y-Pandy (identified as B on the deposited plan). Schedule 2 Description of the new highway to be provided A rectangular shaped area, measuring 40 square metres, located at the south-western end of Maes-y-Pandy (identified as C on the deposited plan). A triangular shaped area, measuring 6 square metres, located at the south-eastern end of Maes-y-Pandy (identified as D on the deposited plan). Schedule 3 Description of the areas of highway to be improved An irregularly shaped area forming part of the highway known as Maes-y-Pandy, measuring 130 square metres (identified as E on the deposited plan). A rectangular shaped area forming part of the highway known as Maes-y-Pandy, measuring 15 square metres (identified as F on the deposited plan). Schedule 4 Description of the proposed development The erection of 4 new dwellings and associated works.
